Description from ParetoLogic, Inc.“Are you frustrated by not being able to open .divx, .mp3, .wmv, .jpg files? File extensions can be a major source of headaches - no one wants to waste time trying to figure out what a .ppt file is and what to do with it. FileCure is the answer to your file extensions questions. This program, which finds software to open files, scans your Windows registry to find out which formats your existing programs support. If you do not have the correct program to open files on your computer, FileCure will suggest and locate software to open files that you can download. Have you ever had a situation where you double clicked to open .divx, .mp3, .wmv, .jpg files and, even though you have the right software to open files, it does not work? Sometimes file extensions get accidentally mixed up and your PC tries to use the wrong program to open files. You would never try to use Word to open .divx, .mp3, .wmv, .jpg files, but problems like this often occur. FileCure can help by putting the power in your hands to manage file extension associations as well as finding software to open files.”
