Boost Connect - By joining the Boost Connect community, you are helping us to help you by providing information about the programs that run on your PC. This information gives us insight into how programs that run on the same PC affect performance and stability. We then like to compare this information across the community to identity patterns and opportunities for performance optimization. Remember… all collected data is anonymous and we are ONLY interested in optimizing your PC. Our overall mission is to make your PC happy and for you to enjoy Boost to the fullest, and NOT to collect any personal information. Information gathered is for the sole benefit of Boost and its community and is NOT shared or sold to other entities- PROMISE!
Allowed programs are programs that you have specifically enabled to run unaltered regardless of whether or not Boost would like to terminate or block them. In most cases before Boost takes actions of various programs it will ask you if you would like to terminate various programs, the programs that you have selected to always allow will be located here. These allowed programs will always run until you remove them from the Allowed Programs.
Blocked programs are programs, services, malware and clutter that have been removed from running on your PC. Unlike most programs that are simply boosted, these programs are temporarily blocked by Boost and will not be allowed to run again unless they are un-blocked.
